Not enough time

This picture doesn't do me justice. You can't see the dishes that aren't washed, the floor that's not vacuumed, or the stuff that's all over the place. You can hardly tell how dirtey little M's face is. It doesn't accurately portray how I haven't had enough time lately to keep up with my house or my kids or the cooking, or the laundry, or the yard, or the pictures, or this blog. That's the story of my life right now. I used to have so much extra time in my day that I would make up errands to run just so I'd have something to do that day, or I'd read books to my kids for an hour or two just to pass the time. Yeah, I kind of miss those days...

Do Babies Know?

Do you think babies know about gender? Because our baby girl loves her big sister more than anyone else in the world. Whenever little L sees her big sister, her eyes light up and she laughs and watches her sister very intently as she moves around the room. The first time I ever heard little L laugh was when her big sister leaned her head over her and looked at her upside down. I think she knows that one day she'll grow up to be just like her big sister. We hope she's not paying too much attention. Big sis has a flair for drama.
